French Creek State Park 2014

We left Bristol, CT, driving 250 miles to Elverston, PA., which is the home of French Creek State Park. This beautiful park is 7,000+ acres of mixed usage. We are parked on a 50a site, no water of sewer (makes it cheaper). We are in a forest, and there will be no satellite here! Our “Jack” antenna does receive about 40 channels!

The park is about 75% empty, I’m sure the weekend will bring out the amateurs!

Our agenda here it to visit with our friends, the Wolters. Shelia is the Deputy Grand Matron for O.E.S. in this area. She is having a function which we will attend, more info to follow.

Tomorrow, we hope to find time to visit Zerns, one of our favorite places to shop. A huge flea market with the distinction of having several local Amish vendors and butchers.
