We had to change sites yesterday, it seems that the state’s computer could not be made to let us stay on the site we were on. The road we were on was shut down after Labor Day to be paved. No contract has been approved to do the job. Fearing an invasion of excavators and rollers, the ranger shut down about 30 sites. One of those instances where the right didn’t know and didn’t care what the left hand was doing. Despite that, this is a very nice location. The campground host was frustrated with the system as were we.
Our evening was occupied with an Order of Eastern Star meeting. Our friend Shelia Wolters is the Regional Grand Matron of Region 13A. During this event, her Region hosted the Worthy Grand Matron to a meeting where the highlight was an initiation of a new member by The Grand Officers of PA.
The rest of the day today will be spent doing house keeping and chores in preperation to our 1,100 mile move to Branson, MO where we have reserved a site at Table Rock State Park.
