After a week in 1000 Islands, I decided to do battery maintenance at 2:00pm on the day before we left. As I was adding water, I tugged on one of the cables and it fell apart in my hand. These cables are larger in diameter than my thumb, difficult to find in a resort area. The NAPA in Clinton came to my rescue. Only about 1 hour of chargeable labor, 2 hours of parts chasing.
We arrived at Wayne County Fairground on Saturday. This allowed us some time to walk around the (small) fair in progress.
The big attraction was the “Mud Bog” where the local boy brought their 4X4 (and other toys) to bash them death.
They are going to need Gorilla Tape to fix this one.
Another smiling face. Today we are going to see Onora & dean Smith.
